JENNIFER SCHAEFER

Miss Jennifer Schaefer has been involved in dance since the age of 3. She has been teaching and choreographing for the past 6 years, with students ranging in age from preschool through adult. Her students have been very successful in the competitive world of dance. They have won numerous high score, top ten, and title awards both regionally and nationally. They have received Power Pak invitations, VIP Judges’ Choice Awards, and Starquest Odessy Awards. In 2006, she was named ADA Young Chorographer of the Year, along with her colleges. Most notably, at both the 2007 and 2009 Showbiz National Competition in Daytona Beach, Flordia, her numbers “Steam Heat” and “Hunt” earned second place overall in the Grand Championship Finals. Jennifer is currently a third grade teacher at Truman Elementary in the Lindbergh School District. She completed her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Special Education, in 2004 from Missouri State University. She is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Reading from Webster University. Jennifer is a member of Dance Master’s of America, Chapter 21. She is currently the coach for the award winning, Lindbergh High School Varsity Cheerleading team. This year her team won first place in the Varsity division, top tumbling, top choreography, and most community support at the first annual “Just Stand Up” cheer classic. They were also the recipients of Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association’s annual Community Service Award. Jennifer hopes to continue to spread her love and for dance with everyone she gets the opportunity to teach.
