VALERIE MANN

Valerie is excited to join the MAC staff for the 2009-2010 season. Valerie began her dance training at Suzanne LaTour School of Dance at the age of 3. Valerie then moved to Beutell Dance Center where she studied under Norma Beutell. She was a member of Gateway Ballet of St. Louis from 1995-1999. In 2000, Valerie won Dance Master of America 1st place scholarships for jazz and ballet. She then moved to Motion Express to study under Tonya Shea. During that time she won 2001 Miss Teen Dance of Missouri and 2002 Miss Dance USA. Valerie enjoyed performing in two seasons of Les Grands Canadian Ballet Nutcracker at the Fox Theatre under the supervision of Andre Leprise. Throughout her college education, Valerie received a full scholarship at Columbia Performing Arts Centre 2002-2007. She hopes her love for dance will inspire her students to strive to be their best!
