Join MAC Dance in supporting our local community through our upcoming Canned Food Drive! Bring your non-perishable canned goods to the studio and help us make a difference for families in need. Every donation counts!

Hello Everyone!

During this annual season of giving the MAC will be hosting a food drive to help our neighbors! All items will go to the Gateway Food Pantry in Arnold, MO. They have done great work in our area and we would like to donate to them this season. We will have a collection bin at the front desk for items. For a fun incentive the dance/aerial class or technique level with the most donations per student, will have a party of their choosing on a specified date. As another incentive we like to also give the student who brings in the most food items a $50 credit on their account and some fun special MAC Dance swag.

How do we keep track of who donates from each class?

When you drop off your donations there will be a form for you to write in your students name, class and how many items you bought. A single can, box or jar is considered one item. If you bring in a case of something please make sure to note that you brought in 12 packs of noodles, etc. Even though they are packaged together. This doesn't mean a box of pasta that has 4 servings equals 4 items, that is only 1 item or a single box of granola bars that have 8 bars in the box is 8 items, it is also only one item etc etc.

You can also bring in items multiple days. No need to do it all in one trip.

We will be gathering items starting Wednesday, November 5th. The food drive will conclude on Thursday, November 20th. The winners will be announced as soon as we tabulate everything, depending on how long that may take. The goal is to let everyone know who won the class party and who won the individual prize before Thanksgiving.

Thank you in advance. If you like to learn more or even volunteer for the Gateway Food Pantry please see their website below.
